The General Campus Research Grant Committee is pleased to solicit applications for the Intercampus Exchange Program for Fiscal Year 2025/26. This program provides travel support for UCSD Academic Senate members and registered graduate students to conduct research and research specific collaborations only at other campuses and facilities of the University of California. This does not include attendance at conferences, scholarly society meetings, business meetings, invited talks, or presentations of seminars.
All Academic departments are eligible to apply for Intercampus Exchange Program block grants. (See application for formula). Departments in turn provide airfare only (not to exceed $250), or mileage in lieu of airfare to Senate members and registered graduate students only. No other expenses are allowable.
The research component of the trip (faculty consulted and the title of the project) must be recorded in Concur or it will not be approved.
The next deadline for submission of applications is March 28, 2025.
Applications are created and submitted electronically through eGrants. Information about eGrants is available at /online-tools/interactive-utilities/egrants.
Departments are responsible for the administration of the grant and any overdrafts, and must review the budget and return any funds that will not be spent by June 30, 2026 to the Committee.
Funds not expended by June 30, 2026 will be automatically returned to the Committee.
