Provost Newman has requested the Senate’s review of the draft report of the UC Tribal Lands Workgroup. The workgroup was convened to examine policies and processes related to the University’s consultations with Tribal partners on matters related to land use, access, stewardship, repatriation, and reburial. Feedback from the Senate’s review will be considered for the final version of the report.
A link to the report is provided in the Resources box. Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by May 1, 2026 will be included in the review materials for Senate Council consideration.
