Issues Under Review

Academic Council Chair Ahmet Palazoglu has requested the Senate’s review of proposed revisions to Systemwide Senate Bylaw 140 Affirmative Action, Diversity, and Equity. The University Committee on Affirmative Action, Diversity, and Equity (UCAADE) proposed the revisions to update the committee’s name and charge to better reflect its current focus and responsibilities.

A link to the policy is provided in the Resources box. Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by November 26, 2025 will be included in the review materials for Senate Council consideration.
