The report from the Senate Administration Workgroup on the Impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence on Education at UC San Diego has been submitted for Senate review. The Workgroup was charged with reviewing what is known about how GenAI impacts education, developing norms and policies for students and instructors, and discussing what teaching, learning and assessment should look like to adapt to the emergence of GenAI.
A link to the report is provided in the Resources box. Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by October 25, 2024 will be included in the review materials for Senate Council consideration.
