Resolutions from April 15 and 29, 2025 Representative Assembly Meetings
The San Diego Division of the Academic Senate held special Representative Assembly meetings on April 15 and 29, 2025 to discuss an Academic Senate response and actions to (1) protect our students and faculty, and (2) protect free speech and academic freedom. Over the course of the two special meetings, the Representative Assembly approved three Resolutions:
- Resolution to support UC San Diego students, faculty and staff who have had their visas or green cards revoked
- Resolution to refrain from sharing the personal information of UC San Diego students, faculty and staff unless compelled by warrant or subpoena
- Resolution to defend UC San Diego’s commitment to free speech and academic freedom
