Vice President of Research and Innovation Theresa Maldonado has requested the Senate’s review of the proposed Presidential Policy on Responding to Allegations of Research Misconduct (UC Research Misconduct Policy). The proposed policy provides guidelines for addressing research misconduct, including definitions, procedures, and a commitment to research integrity, in compliance with federal policies and University of California values.

A link to the policy is provided in the Resources box. Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by October 24, 2025 will be included in the review materials for Senate Council consideration.
