Our first meeting of the 2019-20 academic year is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15th at 3:30 p.m., in the Garren Auditorium of the Biomedical Sciences Building (1st floor). The Notice of Meeting (agenda) and all pertinent documents may be found at the following two locations:
Executive Vice Chancellor Elizabeth Simmons will address the Assembly at this meeting, University Librarian Erik Mitchell will provide an Elsevier negotiations update, and former Divisional Chair Robert Horwitz will provide a Senate overview. In addition, Graduate Council will present a proposal to establish a Five-Year Bachelor of Arts/Master of International Affairs (BA-MIA) Program, the Health Sciences Faculty Council will present a proposal to revise Divisional Senate Bylaw 503, Grading Policy–School of Medicine, and the Educational Policy Committee will provide an update on the policy on distance education courses.
If you are a Representative Assembly member and cannot attend next week’s meeting, please be sure to notify your alternate to do so in your stead. Your participation matters. I look forward to seeing you on October 15th.
