The results of the Fall 2017 special election are as follows:

• Member of the Committee on Committees from a Health Sciences department, excluding the Department of Anesthesiology and the Department of Pediatrics, through August 31, 2019.

  Natalie Afshari (Professor, Ophthalmology)

The number of valid ballots cast in this election was 346, which represents a 14.9% turnout of the current Senate membership.
