The report from the Senate-Administration Workgroup on the Impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence on Research has been submitted for Senate review. The workgroup was established to provide substantial, actionable recommendations on the use of Generative AI systems in research and develop guidelines and principles for its responsible adoption.
A link to the Report is provided in the Resources box. Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by January 30, 2026 will be included in the review materials for Senate Council consideration.
