Issues Under Review

Revisions to the Presidential Policy on Vaccination Programs were submitted for Senate review. The Policy on Vaccination Programs – With Interim Amendments was issued with a September 1, 2022 effective date, as instruction resumed and prior to the influenza season. The University of California Office of the President is now inviting comments to finalize this Presidential Policy. This policy is being renamed “Policy on Vaccination Programs” and consolidates the University’s existing systemwide vaccination requirements, other than the Student Immunization Policy, into a single document.

A link to the proposal is provided in the Resources box. Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by November 23, 2022 will be included in the materials for Senate Council consideration.
