Issues Under Review

UC Vice Provost Susan Carlson has submitted a proposed new Academic Personnel Manual section for Senate review, APM 11 – Academic Freedom, Protection of Professional Standards, and Responsibilities of Non-Faculty Academic Appointments. The proposal was developed by the Working Group on Privileges and Responsibilities of Non-Faculty Academic Appointees, charged with developing recommendations. A link to the cover memo and the report is provided in the in the resources box.

Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by May 31, 2019 will be included in the review materials for Senate Council consideration.
