Issues Under Review

Proposed revisions to the Presidential Policy: Externally Supplied Medications in UC Outpatient and Clinic Settings have been submitted for Senate review. Currently, there are medications coming into the UC system that cannot be tracked and traced because they are externally supplied by outside pharmacies. To adhere to federal law as well as reduce waste, this policy would ban the use of medications that were externally supplied outside of chosen contracted distributors. 

A link to the proposal is provided in the Resources box. Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by September 17, 2024 will be included in the review materials for Senate Council consideration.
