Issues Under Review

Deputy Provost of Systemwide Academic Personnel Lee and Interim Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs and Academic Programs Haynes have requested the Senate’s review of proposed revisions to Academic Personnel Manual (APM) Section 675, Veterinary Medicine Salary Administration. The proposed revisions clarify that faculty members paid on the Veterinary Medicine Salary Scale are ineligible to participate in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan (HSCP) and may only participate in the Negotiated Salary Program (APM-672) or other future compensation plans if they first fully meet the minimum contribution requirements outlined in APM-675, sections 8.d, 8.e, and 8.f. 

A link to the policy is provided in the Resources box. Faculty who wish to comment are welcome to do so. All comments received by March 7, 2025 will be included in the review materials for Senate Council consideration.
