The General Campus Research Grant Committee is pleased to solicit applications for the Intercampus Exchange Program for Fiscal Year 2018/19. This program provides travel funds for UCSD Academic Senate members and registered graduate students in support of research projects and collaborations only to other campuses and facilities of the University of California. This does not include attendance at conferences, business meetings, talks, or presentations of seminars.
All Academic departments are eligible to apply for Intercampus Exchange Program block grants. (See application for formula). Departments in turn provide airfare only (not to exceed $250), or mileage in lieu of airfare to Senate members and registered graduate students only. No other expenses are allowable.
The research component of the trip (faculty consulted and the title of the project) must be recorded in the "Purpose and Destination of the Event" box on the travel reimbursement document (MyTravel or TEF) or it will not be approved.
The next deadline for submission of applications is March 30, 2018. Applications received after March 30, 2018 will be considered in the Fall Quarter.
PDF and Word applications are available on this page. Combine your completed application and supporting documents into a single PDF document and email it to email@example.com. Please contact Michelle Null (firstname.lastname@example.org, extension x42130) if you have any questions.
Departments are responsible for the administration of the grant and any overdrafts, and must review the budget and return any funds that will not be spent by June 30, 2019 to the Committee.
Policy and Procedure Manual References: General Policy: 150-75 through 150-79.
Funds not expended by June 30, 2019 will be automatically returned to the Committee.
