 INTERCAMPUS EXCHANGE PROGRAM -- FY 2010/11

The General Campus Subcommittee is pleased to solicit applications for the Intercampus Exchange Program for Fiscal Year 2010/11.
 
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS IS 2 P.M., MARCH 31, 2010
Applications received after this date will be considered in the Fall Quarter.
 

GENERAL CAMPUS SUBCOMMITTEE ON RESEARCH SUPPORT
THROUGH ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS

 

INTERCAMPUS EXCHANGE PROGRAM:

This program provides travel funds for UCSD Academic Senate members and registered graduate students in support of research projects and collaborations only to other campuses and facilities of the University of California. This does not include attendance at conferences, business meetings, talks, or presentations of seminars.

All Academic departments are eligible to apply for Intercampus Exchange Program block grants.  (See application for formula).  Departments in turn provide airfare only (not to exceed $250), or mileage in lieu of airfare to Senate members and registered graduate students only.  No other expenses are allowable.

The research component of the trip (faculty consulted and the title of the project) must be recorded in the "Purpose and Destination of the Event" box on the travel reimbursement document (MyTravel or TEF) or it will not be approved.

USE OF FUNDS:

 
Departments are responsible for the administration of the grant, any overdrafts, and must review the budget and return to the Subcommittee any funds that will not be spent by June 30, 2010.

FUNDS NOT EXPENDED BY JUNE 30, 2011 WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY RETURNED TO THE SUBCOMMITTEE.
